Looking a good home for my one-of-a-kind and extremely adorable male Afghan hound puppies. They are 12 weeks old and have had their first vaccinations and deworming. They get along well with children and other pets. Very bright and quick learners. The price for each is $2,500.
About the Afghan Hound
The Afghan Hound is an ancient sighthound breed known for its elegant appearance and flowing, silky coat. Originally bred in Afghanistan for hunting large prey in mountainous terrain, Afghans are athletic and independent.
They have a dignified, aloof demeanor with strangers but can be playful and affectionate with their families. Afghan Hounds are independent thinkers with a strong prey drive, making off-leash activities risky. They require daily exercise, including opportunities to run in safely enclosed areas.
Their glamorous coat needs extensive grooming several times per week to prevent matting. Training requires patience as Afghans can be stubborn and aren't as eager to please as some breeds.
They're best suited to experienced dog owners who appreciate their unique personality.
