Beautiful biewer Yorkie puppies looking for forever homes. These babies were born on September 9th. They have been loved since the beginning. They're so used to cats and large dogs. They are not like traditional Yorkies in that they will not lose their color or turn gold. Biewers do not have their tails docked either. Puppies have had all of their regular wormings and their first set of shots. They have been weaned and are now eating Purina One puppy food. These angels, like the Yorkie, do not shed and are hypoallergenic. Puppies will be delivered with shot records, a small bed, a toy, and a blanket. CKC registration is possible, but no papers are provided. I still have two females and one male available.
About the Biewer
The Biewer Terrier (pronounced "beaver") is a rare toy breed that originated from a genetic mutation in Yorkshire Terriers in Germany in the 1980s. These elegant little dogs are distinguished by their unique tricolor coat pattern and are recognized as a separate breed from their Yorkshire Terrier ancestors.
Biewer Terriers have a long, silky coat that flows to the ground in a striking tricolor pattern of white, black, and gold/tan. Unlike Yorkies, they have white prominently featured in their coat. They have a compact, well-proportioned body with a slightly rounded head, dark eyes, and erect or semi-erect ears. Their elegant appearance is enhanced by their flowing coat.
These dogs are friendly, playful, and less terrier-like in temperament than Yorkies. They're affectionate and devoted to their families with a more easy-going personality than typical terriers. Biewer Terriers have moderate energy levels and require daily walks and playtime — 30 minutes — but are adaptable to apartment living. They're intelligent and generally easier to train than many toy breeds.
Their long coat requires daily brushing and regular grooming to prevent tangles and maintain its beauty. Despite their delicate appearance, they're sturdy for their size but should be supervised with young children due to their small stature. Biewer Terriers are social and get along well with other pets. Best suited for families, seniors, or individuals seeking an elegant, affectionate companion with a more moderate temperament than traditional terriers.
