I have 2 male Borgi puppies looking to rehome. They were born on Nov. 7, 22. Mother is a full blood corgi and Father is a full blood beagle. Puppies are 6 weeks old, they have their first round of shots and ready to go. $300 each.
About the Borgi
The Borgi is a designer mixed breed resulting from crossing a Border Collie with a Corgi (either Pembroke or Cardigan Welsh Corgi). This unique combination blends the Border Collie's intelligence and work ethic with the Corgi's charming personality and distinctive short stature.
Borgis typically have a compact build with short to medium legs, often inheriting the Corgi's characteristic low-slung body. They may have the Border Collie's medium-length coat or a slightly shorter version, with colors ranging from black and white, tri-color, red and white, to various other combinations. Many have the distinctive Border Collie markings on a Corgi-like frame.
These mixed breeds inherit high intelligence from both parents and are typically very trainable. Borgis are friendly, alert, and make excellent family companions. They often display herding instincts and may try to herd children or other pets. These dogs are generally affectionate and social, getting along well with family members and usually with other pets when properly socialized.
Despite their shorter legs, Borgis are energetic and need regular exercise, though their requirements are typically more moderate than a purebred Border Collie. Daily walks, play sessions, and mental stimulation keep them happy and healthy. They adapt well to various living situations including apartments if exercised adequately. Grooming needs are moderate, with regular brushing required. Borgis can be prone to back issues due to their long spine and short legs, so care should be taken with jumping and stairs.
