I got a new puppy, initially thought I could handle my remote job and him, but he needs more attention than I can give. He is a Half Boxer and half Pyrenees. Sadly, I've decided to rehome him. Born on 9/14, no shots yet. His name is Cooper, likes cuddling, playing, and belly rubs. Good at potty training, quick learner, no barking, and sleeps through the night. Comes with supplies: Purina one plus, toys, crate, playpen, sprays, shampoo, treats, pads, nail clippers, bed, and blankets. Rehoming fee of $500 covers everything I bought for him.

About the Boxnese

Boxnese

The Boxnese is a designer mixed breed created by crossing a Boxer with a Pekingese. This unusual combination blends the Boxer's athletic, playful nature with the Pekingese's dignified, affectionate personality, resulting in a unique companion dog.

Boxnese dogs vary considerably in size and appearance depending on which parent they favor. They may have the Boxer's more athletic build or incorporate the Pekingese's compact structure. Coat length can range from short like a Boxer to longer like a Pekingese. They often have flatter faces than Boxers but less extreme than purebred Pekingese.

These mixed breeds typically combine the Boxer's friendly, outgoing nature with the Pekingese's loyal, sometimes independent personality. Boxnese dogs are usually affectionate with their families and can be playful and entertaining. They may inherit the Pekingese's tendency to be somewhat aloof with strangers while maintaining the Boxer's general sociability.

Boxnese dogs have moderate exercise needs that fall between their parent breeds. They enjoy walks and play but aren't as high-energy as purebred Boxers. They adapt well to various living situations including apartments. Training requires patience as they can inherit stubbornness from the Pekingese side. Grooming needs vary with coat length. Due to potential brachycephalic features, they may be sensitive to heat and require monitored exercise. Best suited for families wanting a playful but more moderate-energy companion.
