There are currently (1) female and (4) male Brittany puppies, and they are now 4 months old. These adorable pups come from parents with hunting backgrounds. They have received their first round of shots and have been dewormed. In the last pictures, you can see both parents; the father has a roan liver/darker color, while the mother is a lemon/red-colored purebred Brittany. About the Brittany
The Brittany is a versatile French gun dog breed that originated in the Brittany region of France during the 17th century. Originally called the Brittany Spaniel, the 'Spaniel' was later dropped as the breed functions more as a pointing dog than a flushing spaniel. Brittanys are among the most popular pointing breeds for bird hunting.
Brittanys are medium-sized, athletic dogs with compact, muscular builds. They have dense, flat or wavy coats in orange and white or liver and white patterns. Some Brittanys are born with naturally short tails or are tailless. Their alert expressions and eager demeanor reflect their enthusiastic nature. These dogs are built for endurance and agility in the field.
These dogs are known for being upbeat, affectionate, and eager to please. Brittanys are versatile hunting dogs that excel at pointing and retrieving, but they also make wonderful family companions. They are typically gentle with children, friendly with other dogs, and highly trainable. Their energetic, happy-go-lucky personalities make them delightful companions for active families.
Brittanys have high exercise requirements and need substantial daily activity including running, hiking, or participating in dog sports. They excel in hunting, field trials, agility, and other activities. Without adequate exercise, they can become bored and develop behavioral issues. These dogs are highly trainable and respond well to positive methods. Grooming needs are moderate. Best suited for active, outdoorsy families who can provide the exercise and mental stimulation Brittanys need to thrive.
