These pups are 9 weeks old and gonna be 4-8lbs when they grow up. We're asking for a small rehoming fee of $350 and you gotta call us on the home phone - no texting, please. These little dudes are a big commitment, like 12-20 years, so make sure you're ready for that responsibility. We got 4 sweet boys here, all vetted with their first shots, dewormed, and checked out by the doc. They come with a new home pack, too. We're looking for some responsible pet lovers to give 'em a forever home. Mom's an Italian Greyhuahua hybrid - half Chihuahua, half Miniature Italian Greyhound - and she's white and tan and weighs 7.12lbs. Dad's a full-blooded Chihuahua, white, and weighs 4.3lbs. About the Chihuahua
The Chihuahua is one of the world's smallest dog breeds yet possesses one of the largest personalities. Named for the Mexican state of Chihuahua, it is usually kept as a companion animal, and is thought to have derived from the Techichi, a small dog kept by the Toltec people of Mexico as long ago as the 9th century. Despite their diminutive stature, typically weighing between 2 to 6 pounds, these tiny dogs are surprisingly sturdy and remarkably long-lived, often reaching 14 to 16 years or more with proper care.
Affectionately called "Chis" by their fans, Chihuahua dogs are loving with those they trust and tend to bond closely with their families. They are lively and confident, often displaying a larger-than-life personality, and form incredibly close bonds with their owners, showcasing a level of affection and loyalty that is remarkable. Chihuahuas are feisty, affectionate, devoted, and mischievous dogs, bringing endless entertainment to their households. These sweet little pups are full of life, and with the proper care and training can make excellent canine companions.
However, like many small dogs, they may be more prone to barking than some larger dogs and can also seek to dominate their owners and be somewhat temperamental. Small in physique but extremely large in personality, they're complicated creatures that require proper socialization from an early age. Thanks to their small size, Chihuahuas are perfect for students, apartment dwellers, or those living in smaller homes. They thrive with owners who understand their need for warmth, protection from rough handling, and consistent training. While they may be wary of strangers, properly socialized Chihuahuas become confident, spirited companions that offer unwavering devotion and endless personality in a pocket-sized package.
