One Female Frenchton puppy for sale. she is 9 months old now. Father is a French Bulldog and mother would be a Boston Terrier. She's an uncommon Brindle color she weighs 24 lbs and it is fully grown per the vet. She has had all her shots, has been spayed, dewormed and comes with her heart worm pills throughout the season. Including her halter, leash, crate with bedding, toys, treats and Blue Buffalo puppy chow. She actually is a loving happy puppy, shy around cats and other dogs. She is getting very good at house training, no accidents in two weeks! Were retired and were looking towards raising her and so are so sorry to present her up but unforeseen health problems are causing us to stop able to care for her as she deserves. Were asking $300 because we'd like serious buyers, someone that happen to be committed to giving her a safe and good home.. thank for looking
About the Frenchton
The Frenchton, also known as the Faux French Bulldog or Boston Frenchie, is a designer breed created by crossing a French Bulldog with a Boston Terrier. This intentional hybrid was developed to combine the beloved characteristics of both parent breeds while potentially reducing some of the health issues associated with purebred French Bulldogs, particularly breathing problems caused by extreme brachycephalic (flat-faced) features. The result is a charming, compact companion with a slightly longer muzzle and improved respiratory function.
Frenchtons typically inherit the muscular, compact build of both parent breeds, with expressive faces, large round eyes, and either bat-like ears from the French Bulldog or rose-shaped ears from the Boston Terrier. Their short, smooth coat comes in various colors including black, brindle, white, cream, and combinations with distinctive markings. Grooming is minimal—weekly brushing and occasional baths suffice—though facial wrinkles should be cleaned regularly to prevent irritation and infection.
Known for their friendly, outgoing personalities, Frenchtons are incredibly social dogs who thrive on human interaction and form deep bonds with their families. They're generally more energetic than French Bulldogs but calmer than some terrier breeds, requiring 30-40 minutes of daily exercise through walks and play sessions. Their adaptable nature makes them excellent apartment dogs, and they're typically quiet, though they may inherit the Boston Terrier's occasional alertness and barking at unusual sounds.
Frenchtons are highly trainable and intelligent, responding well to positive reinforcement methods and eager to please their owners. They're wonderful with children, other dogs, and even cats when properly socialized. While they have better heat tolerance than purebred French Bulldogs due to their improved breathing, they should still be monitored in hot weather. These affectionate, entertaining companions typically enjoy longer lifespans than their French Bulldog parents, bringing joy to families for 12-15 years.
