F1 standard golden doodles Born 3/17/19 1 Male & 1 Female Estimated size to be around 55 pounds full grown All puppies possess a 12 months genetic health guarantee. Puppies are current on their first vaccine, dewormed, microchipped, vet examined, which has a great puppy pack which includes food, a blanket, a toy, along with a brush. Our puppies are well socialized and handled. They are raised in and out of on our farm and encountered with many stock and our other dogs. Dad is a red standard poodle and contains hips, elbows, and genetic testing done. Mom is a mid-sized golden retriever with her genetic testing, heart, eye, and patella prelims, and hips and elbows checked for breeding soundness Both mom and dad have a calm simple to train temperament. Adoption fee $1000
About the Goldendoodle
The Goldendoodle is one of the most popular designer breeds, created by crossing a Golden Retriever with a Poodle to produce an intelligent, friendly companion with a low-shedding coat. First bred in the 1990s, Goldendoodles quickly gained popularity for their wonderful temperaments and suitability for families with allergies. These dogs come in various sizes depending on the Poodle parent used (standard, miniature, or toy), with standard Goldendoodles being the most common. They inherit the Golden Retriever's gentle, patient nature combined with the Poodle's intelligence and trainability, resulting in exceptionally versatile dogs that excel as family pets, therapy dogs, and service animals. Goldendoodles are renowned for their friendly, social personalities—they love people of all ages and typically get along wonderfully with children, other dogs, and even cats. Their eagerness to please and high intelligence make them highly trainable using positive reinforcement methods. These energetic dogs require at least 45-60 minutes of daily exercise including walks, swimming, fetch, or participating in dog sports like agility. They need both physical activity and mental stimulation to prevent boredom and potential behavioral issues. Their coats vary from wavy to curly and come in various colors including cream, gold, apricot, red, and black. While often marketed as hypoallergenic, no dog is truly allergen-free, though Goldendoodles typically shed minimally. However, their coats require significant grooming commitment—brushing several times weekly and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to prevent matting. First-generation Goldendoodles may shed more than multi-generational ones. Common health concerns include hip dysplasia, eye problems, ear infections (due to floppy ears), and certain genetic conditions from both parent breeds. Goldendoodles adapt well to various living situations but do best in homes with yards. They're highly social and don't tolerate being alone for long periods. With their winning combination of intelligence, friendliness, and adaptability, Goldendoodles make wonderful companions for families, singles, and seniors seeking devoted, trainable friends.
