7 weeks old Havapoo puppies for sale. They are cute Havanese / Poodle pups. They 're doing well with our kids and our two cats too. They 're come of age in our busy home and are playful pups who are really social outgoing. We are looking for those babies to go in loving safe homes! They eat solid, best quality puppy food, and are doing great so far with potty training! Will be sending off shots and deworming records home. Please call or text only.
About the Havapoo
The Havapoo, also known as the Poovanese or Havadoodle, is a designer mixed breed created by crossing the Havanese with the Poodle (usually Miniature or Toy). This intentional crossbreeding aims to combine the Havanese's affectionate, gentle nature with the Poodle's intelligence and low-shedding coat. Like all designer dogs, Havapoos gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s as people sought companion dogs that might be better suited for allergy sufferers while maintaining wonderful temperaments. While not a purebred and therefore not recognized by major kennel clubs, the Havapoo has developed a devoted following among dog lovers. Havapoos vary considerably in size depending on whether they're bred from Toy or Miniature Poodles, typically standing 8 to 15 inches tall and weighing anywhere from 7 to 30 pounds. Their appearance can vary significantly even within the same litter, with some favoring the Havanese parent and others looking more Poodle-like. Most Havapoos have soft, wavy to curly coats that can come in virtually any color including white, black, brown, cream, apricot, or multi-colored patterns. Their coats are typically low-shedding, though the degree varies by individual, making them popular choices for people with mild allergies. They often have the Havanese's expressive dark eyes and the Poodle's refined features, creating an irresistibly cute appearance. In terms of temperament, Havapoos typically inherit wonderful personality traits from both parent breeds. They are usually affectionate, social, and people-oriented dogs who thrive on human companionship and interaction. From the Havanese side, they often inherit a gentle, adaptable nature and a strong desire to be near their families. From the Poodle parent, they gain intelligence, trainability, and sometimes a bit more independence. Most Havapoos are friendly with strangers, excellent with children when properly socialized, and generally good with other pets. They tend to be less yappy than some toy breeds but will alert their families to visitors or unusual activities. Havapoos are highly intelligent and typically very trainable, often excelling in obedience training, tricks, and even dog sports like agility. They are eager to please and respond well to positive reinforcement methods. Early socialization and consistent training help them develop into well-rounded, confident adults. Like both parent breeds, Havapoos can be sensitive to their owners' emotions and don't respond well to harsh training methods. These dogs have low to moderate energy levels, requiring daily walks and play sessions but not extensive exercise. They adapt well to various living situations, including apartments, as long as they receive adequate attention and mental stimulation. Their grooming needs can be moderate to high depending on coat type, typically requiring brushing several times per week and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to keep their coat healthy and manageable. One important consideration is that Havapoos can be prone to separation anxiety due to their intense attachment to their families. They do best in homes where someone is around most of the time. With proper care and attention, Havapoos make wonderful, adaptable companions for families, singles, and seniors alike.
