My male husky/lab is 4 months old, up-to-date on shots, born on December 1st. He's trained on puppy pads, signals when he needs to go outside, good with kids and other dogs, enjoys playing ball. I'm rehoming him because I work 3rd shift and he needs more attention. Contact me if interested.
About the Labsky

The Labsky is an energetic designer breed created by crossing the Labrador Retriever with the Siberian Husky, combining the Labrador's friendly, eager-to-please temperament with the Husky's striking appearance and independent spirit. This medium to large hybrid brings together two highly popular breeds with very different histories—the Labrador's retrieving and companionship heritage with the Husky's sled-pulling and endurance background—resulting in an athletic, intelligent dog with substantial exercise needs. Labskys often display captivating appearances, potentially inheriting the Husky's striking blue or parti-colored eyes, combined with coat colors ranging from black, chocolate, yellow, gray, white, or combinations, typically with a dense double coat built for cold weather.
Known for their high energy and intelligence, Labskys are devoted companions who form strong bonds with their families. They typically inherit the Labrador's friendly, social nature tempered by the Husky's more independent, sometimes aloof personality, creating a dog that loves family but may be reserved with strangers. These dogs are generally good with children when properly socialized, displaying playfulness and tolerance, though their high energy and size require supervision. Labskys can be challenging to train, as they may inherit the Husky's legendary stubborn streak and tendency to test boundaries, combined with varying degrees of the Labrador's eagerness to please. They are intelligent problem-solvers who require consistent, patient training from experienced handlers, and they may inherit the Husky's escape artist tendencies, requiring secure fencing.
Prospective owners must be prepared for an extremely active dog requiring 90+ minutes of vigorous daily exercise. Labskys excel in activities like running, hiking, bikejoring, and dog sports, but they can become destructive without adequate physical and mental stimulation. They are notorious shedders, inheriting the Husky's heavy seasonal coat blow, requiring daily brushing and regular grooming. These dogs may inherit the Husky's vocal nature, howling and talking frequently. Labskys are best suited to experienced, active owners with secure yards and time for substantial exercise and training. For those who can meet their demanding needs, the Labsky offers striking beauty, athletic companionship, and unwavering loyalty in one impressive package.
