3 male designer toy sized morkie-poo puppies are available, weighing generally 5-9lbs when fully grown. They are hypoallergenic and non-shedding. The puppies will receive their first set of vaccinations and deworming treatments at 2-4-6-7 weeks of age. Pick up is scheduled for the week of May 22nd-29th when they are 8 weeks old. The dam and sire are personal pets with great temperaments and can be seen on site. Feel free to request pictures of past litters and the parents if you are interested. About the Morkie
The Morkie is a designer crossbreed created by mixing a Maltese with a Yorkshire Terrier. This relatively new hybrid has gained immense popularity as a companion dog, particularly among those seeking a small, affectionate lap dog with a big personality. First bred in the late 1990s, Morkies combine the best traits of both parent breeds.
These tiny dogs are characterized by their soft, silky coats that can range from straight to slightly wavy, often in combinations of black, brown, white, and tan. Despite their diminutive size, Morkies are confident, spunky, and alert. They form incredibly strong bonds with their owners and can be quite devoted, sometimes becoming velcro dogs that follow their people everywhere.
Morkies are intelligent and can be trained, though they may inherit a stubborn streak from the terrier side. They require minimal exercise—short daily walks and indoor play sessions usually suffice—making them ideal for apartment living. Their coat needs regular brushing to prevent matting and professional grooming every few months. While generally friendly, early socialization is important to prevent small dog syndrome. Morkies can be yappy and may not tolerate rough play from young children, making them better suited for families with older, respectful children or adults seeking a devoted companion.
