These 5 charming Saint Bernard puppies, who are 8.5 weeks old, are eagerly waiting for a loving home. Their parents are purebreds, who possess a friendly and playful personality, but also have a tendency to be laid-back. If you are interested, we can send you pictures of the mother and father. These puppies have a taste for both dry and wet dog food. The price for each puppy is $850. Some of the puppies have a charming brindle pattern, while others are predominantly white. Only serious adopters who will provide the necessary love and care will be considered. Saint Bernards are also known to make excellent service animals, and our family has had a wonderful experience with our son's Saint Bernard service animal for the past four years. We are confident that you will fall in love with these wonderful dogs as well.
About the Saint Bernard
The Saint Bernard is a legendary Swiss breed originally bred by monks for alpine rescue work, famous for their gentle nature and lifesaving heroism. These massive dogs combine impressive size with a remarkably patient, gentle temperament, making them beloved family companions despite their giant proportions. Saint Bernards are known for their affinity with children, displaying exceptional tolerance and protective instincts. They're generally friendly toward strangers and other animals when properly socialized. Despite their working heritage, they have moderate energy levels and are surprisingly content with regular walks rather than intense exercise. Their calm indoor demeanor makes them manageable house dogs for those with adequate space. Training should begin early while they're manageable size, as their strength makes control essential. They respond well to gentle, consistent training methods. Saint Bernards require regular grooming, with longhaired varieties needing more frequent brushing. They drool significantly, which potential owners must accept. Health concerns include hip dysplasia and bloat, requiring preventive care. These dogs don't tolerate heat well due to their thick coat and size. Despite their shorter lifespan common to giant breeds, Saint Bernards reward their families with unwavering devotion, gentle companionship, and the occasional heroic rescue of toys from under furniture. They're ideal for families wanting a patient, loving gentle giant.
