These pups come from our family pets. Dad is a 10 lb AKC-registered Shih Tzu, and mom is a 6 lb Schnauzer/Dachshund mix. They’re playful, full of personality, and already a little spoiled! We have 4 puppies looking for loving homes—2 females and 2 males. They’re 7 weeks old, vet checked, have had their first shots, been dewormed, and had their dewclaws removed. The puppies mostly take after the Shih Tzu side, but may have a touch of Schnauzer depending on how they’re groomed. The first two photos are of the females, and the last two are the males. We’re happy to send more pictures or videos upon request. Willing to meet within a reasonable distance. A rehoming fee applies. Text for a faster response or feel free to call.
About the Schnau-Tzu

The Schnau-Tzu combines the spirited Miniature Schnauzer with the charming Shih Tzu, creating a small companion dog with big personality. This hybrid typically inherits the Schnauzer's alertness and the Shih Tzu's affectionate nature, resulting in a devoted family companion who bonds closely with their people. Schnau-Tzus are generally friendly and social, enjoying interaction with family members including children, though supervision with very young kids is recommended due to their small size. They make surprisingly good watchdogs, alerting to visitors and unusual sounds despite their compact stature. These dogs are intelligent and can be trained effectively, though they may inherit some stubbornness from both parent breeds, requiring patient, consistent, positive reinforcement methods. Their exercise needs are moderate, satisfied with daily walks and indoor play, making them suitable for apartment living. Grooming requirements vary depending on coat type but generally require regular brushing and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to prevent matting. Schnau-Tzus thrive on companionship and may develop separation anxiety if left alone frequently. They're adaptable dogs who do well in various living situations as long as they're included in family activities. Health-wise, they may inherit conditions from either parent breed, making regular veterinary care important. The Schnau-Tzu is ideal for those seeking an affectionate, manageable-sized companion with a spirited personality.
