Goldie is a two-year-old female mastador who weighs about 70 lbs. She's up-to-date on vaccines and has been spayed. Although she's from a breeder, her temperament is more like that of a lab. However, I'm unable to properly care for her due to her high energy. Goldie is a loving, loyal, super smart, and curious dog. She's an excellent pet. I don't have the space for her and I'm unable to dedicate the time to train her. Therefore, I believe she deserves a better life somewhere else. If you're interested, the rehoming fee is $200.
About the Mastador
The Mastador is a large designer breed created by crossing the English Mastiff with the Labrador Retriever, combining the gentle giant temperament of the Mastiff with the friendly, outgoing nature of the Labrador. This impressive hybrid inherits the best qualities from both parent breeds: the Mastiff's calm, protective instincts and the Labrador's intelligence, trainability, and love of family. Despite their imposing size, Mastadors are known for being gentle, affectionate companions who form deep bonds with their families. These dogs are generally patient and tolerant with children, though supervision is essential due to their massive size. Potential owners should be prepared for a dog that requires significant space, resources, and commitment. Mastadors need moderate daily exercise to maintain healthy weight and prevent boredom, though they are not as high-energy as purebred Labradors. Their grooming needs are moderate, with regular brushing required to manage shedding. Like many large breeds, Mastadors can be prone to hip dysplasia and bloat, requiring careful feeding schedules and veterinary monitoring.
